HASSAN: A man, riding a motorcycle, died after hitting a speed breaker and losing balance near the Pension Mohalla police station around 3 am on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Rakesh (30).
Rakesh was on his way to a friend’s house after learning about the death of the latter’s father. He was speeding and did not notice the speed breaker and fell on the road afer losing his balance. Rakesh sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.
The traffic police visited the spot and registered a case. The body was sent for post-mortem examination and further investigation is under way.
