BENGALURU: Four occupants of a Hyundai Creta SUV narrowly escaped death after their speeding car lost control, jumped the median and overturned on Yeshwantpur flyover in Bengaluru.
The incident occurred around midnight when the occupants were returning from Sanjaynagar to Rajajinagar and lost control of their vehicle.
The car (KA 04M 8618) was at high speed on the Yeshwantpur Main Road when the driver lost control and it jumped the divider and overturned on the flyover.
Passersby, including auto drivers, rushed to the spot and pulled the occupants out of the car. The injured occupants suffered minor injuries and were provided medical attention. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Yeshwantpur Traffic police station.
Recently, one person had died, four injured after a speeding sedan had jumped the median and fallen off the flyover on to the road below.
