MANGALURU: One person died after a speeding car jumped the road divider and crashed into an electricity pole after the driver lost control, in Ujire, Belthangady taluk, on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Prajwal, who was driving the car.
Prajwal was speeding in the Mercedes Benz car when he lost control. He was severely injured in the accident and shifted to a hospital by locals, but succumbed to his injuries.
The car was completely mangled in the accident. The Belthangady police visited the spot and have registered a case.
