BENGALURU: A special court on Thursday put off hearing in the MUDA (Mysore Urban Development Authority) scam case involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to January 28. The Special Court for Lokayukta cases was expected to pronounce its verdict on the ‘B’ report filed by the Lokayukta police on Thursday.

The Lokayukta police had submitted the ‘B’ report, citing lack of sufficient evidence against Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathi, and three others in the MUDA site allotment scandal. The petitioner, Snehamayi Krishna, had challenged the ‘B’ report, and the court had reserved its order after hearing arguments.

If the court accepts the ‘B’ report, it would be a big relief for the Chief Minister and his family. However, if the court rejects the report, it could lead to further complications.
