BENGALURU: A woman, who was crazy about making social media reels, has dumped her husband of decades and fled with her boyfriend whom she met online, along with her second child. The husband has now lodged a complaint with the Yeshwantpur police.
Namitha and Joseph were married for decades and the couple have two children. Namitha, who has a craze for creating social media reels, met one Dilip Jora online, who hails from Delhi, and the two exchanged their numbers and started having video calls. On one such occasion, she called Dilip to Bengaluru.
Joseph, who had ignored Namitha’s social media craze, was in for a shock when he found out that Dilip was in Bengaluru and the couple had an argument. When he was asleep, Namitha fled the house along with their second child.
Joseph has now lodged a complaint alleging that his wife and child are missing and added that he suspects that she might have gone with Dilip. The police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the duo.
