BENGALURU: A social activist has claimed that a property in Nagarthpet in the city, which belongs to the Muzrai department, has been sold to someone with fake documents.

Ravi Kumar, the activist, claimed that the property was donated by Ammanamma to a government school for a children’s hostel and to the Muzrai department in 1942. At present, an eight-storey building has been constructed by creating fake documents. He has complained to the Muzrai department and the BBMP along with the documents, but no one has responded, he said.

“The property is in Nagarthpet, Makkala Basavana Gudi Road. Since 2014, I have been complaining to the commissioner, the DC, tahsildar and others, but one has taken action against it. I got to know that some person from another state has built an eight-storey building by creating fake documents and I informed the Muzrai department commissioner about this. The property was donated to the school. The officials have visited a few times but have not responded,”, said Ravi Kumar, a social activist.
