Skeleton found at construction site in Kothanur

BENGALURU: A human skeleton was discovered in a under-construction apartment complex in the Kothanuru area in Koramangala.

The skeleton was found on the fourth floor of the Samruddhi Apartment building. According to the police, the skeleton is believed to be that of a 35-40-year-old man, as found with a T-shirt and jeans, who may have died 6-8 months ago.

The skeleton was discovered by construction workers who were cleaning the area. The body had been covered with a bag and soil, but when they removed the cover, they found the skeleton. The police were informed, and they have taken the skeleton for further investigation.

The apartment complex, which belongs to Sridhar of Doddagubbi, had stopped construction work a few months ago but resumed recently.

The police are investigating the cause of death and trying to identify the deceased. The skeleton has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for further analysis.
