Six-year-old boy bitten by stray dogs in Kalaburagi, residents vent over civic body

KALABURAGI: A six-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after he was attacked by stray dogs at Vidyanagar Colony in Ward 44 in the city. Of late, the menace of stray dogs has increased, but the civic body seems to be doing little.

Sanchit was playing near his house when suddenly, a pack of strays attacked him. The boy sustained serious injuries in the left thigh and wais region, and was rushed to GIMS hospital.

Local residents said they have complained on numerous occasions to the ward corporator and officials to take steps to curb the stray dog menace, but rued that nothing had been done so far.
