TUMAKURU: Six people sustained burn injuries after an explosion brought down the walls and the roof of their house at Park Mohalla on Madhugiri Road in Sira town.
Two of them sustained serious injuries and all the injured were shifted to a hospital. The house belongs to one Nazeer. Though an LPG cylinder blast is suspected, the exact cause of the blast has not been established yet.
Karnataka’s special representative in Delhi, T B Jayachandra, Police Superintendent K V Ashok and other officials visited the spot. The police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
