Sitting MLA Suryakanth Nagamarapalli likely to join Janata Dal (Secular) soon

BIDAR: Sitting BJP MLA Suryakanth Nagamarapalli, who has rebelled against the party over being denied a ticket for the upcoming Assembly polls, is likely to join the Janata Dal (Secular) soon.

Sources said that a round of talks were held with the JD(S) leaders and that Nagamarapalli is likely to join the party on Sunday or Monday. Suryakanta’s photos with the JD(S) symbol have already been shared by his followers on social media.

Initially, Suryakanth Nagamarapalli proposed to contest as an Independent candidate after he was denied the Bidar Assembly constituency ticket. According to his supporters, Suryakantha Nagamarapalli is likely to join JD(S).

The BJP has given the ticket to Ishwar Singh from Bidar, who has been involved in party organisation for 35 years as an ordinary worker.
