BENGALURU: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted a comprehensive 2,300-page final report to the High Court regarding the suicide of lawyer Jeeva, who was facing investigation into alleged irregularities in the Bhovi Development Corporation case.
The report confirmed that most of the allegations mentioned in Jeeva’s death note are true, including the harassment by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Kanakalakshmi. Forensic reports, post-mortem examination reports, and the death note have been mentioned in the SIT report.
The SIT’s findings are based on a thorough 90-day investigation, which included forensic analysis and documentation of evidence. The report, submitted to the High Court, sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Jeeva’s tragic death.
An SIT comprising three IPS officers, including CCB DCP Hakai Akshay Machindra, SP Nisha James and CBI SP Vinayak Verma, was formed to investigate the Jeeva suicide case. It was conducted a lengthy investigation for 90 days. The team, which has now completed the investigation, has submitted its final report to the High Court.
