SIT collects evidence related alleged vote theft in two other constituencies in Kalaburagi

KALABURAGI: The special investigation team (SIT) probing the alleged vote theft case in Aland Assembly constituency, has intensified its probe and gathered significant evidence suggesting that vote theft also occurred in two other Assembly constituencies in Kalaburagi district.

The SIT is now gearing up to investigate the vote theft cases in these two constituencies. Based on the evidence, the SIT had found that data operator Akram and Aslam received money through a chartered accountant (CA) in Kalaburagi.

The SIT officials had raided the CA’s house and seized two laptops, which are now being examined for further evidence. The SIT will proceed with its investigation based on the evidence found in the laptops.
