BALLARI: The Taluk Medical Officer of Siraguppa Taluk Hospital in Ballari district, Dr Eeranna, has been suspended for his drunken behavior.
Dr Eeranna, who reportedly would come to work drunk every day, causing trouble for the staff and the public. He would also behave inappropriately with the staff and the public while in a drunken state.
The medical officer would to sit in the chamber drunk, bang the table and behave in an indecent manner. The suspension order was issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services after a detailed report was aired on Public TV.
The report highlighted Dr Eeranna’s indecent behaviour under the influence of alcohol.
