Siddaramaiah’s photos missing from banners at HD Kote Congress event

MYSURU: In a surprise turn of events, photos of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah were missing from the Prajadhwani campaign at HD Kote on Thursday, ahead of state Assembly elections.

The banners on the convention stage featured photos of the 31 Congress leaders, but Siddaramaiah’s photo was missing. His followers said that it was a strategy to reduce Siddaramaiah’s charisma in his home district.

MLA Anil Chikkamadu praised KPCC president DK Shivakumar in the Congress event.

At the event, MLA Anil Chikkamadu, who sat next to the KPCC president D K Shivakumar, is also said to have ignored Siddaramaiah. Speaking at the conference, Anil praised DK Shivakumar for helping his father, but did not mentioned any of the development works done by the former Chief Minister.
