Siddaramaiah’s daughter-in-law starts campaign on his behalf in Varuna segment

Siddaramaiah's daughter-in-law Smitha has started campaigning in Varuna Assembly constituency on his behalf.

MYSURU: Congress leader Siddaramaiah has got a shot in the arm in his campaigning efforts with his daughter-in-law also joining forces in Varuna Assembly segment from where he is contesting.

Siddaramaiah’s son Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, who is the sitting MLA from Varuna, is already campaigning for his father in the Assembly segment. Now, Siddaramaiah’s late son Rakesh’s wife Smitha has also got down to campaigning on his behalf.

This is for the first time that a woman from Siddaramaiah’s household has got down to campaigning. Smitha went door to door seeking votes for her father-in-law and asked voters to ensure his victory with the highest margin in the May 10 Assembly election.
