BENGALURU: In major development in sexual assault in HSR Layout, an FIR has now been registered against the victim herself based on a complaint lodged by an autorickshaw driver for reckless driving in drunken state.
On the night of the incident, the woman had attended a party with friends, consumed alcohol and was driving a car with her friend when she hit two autorickshaws and a bike near Mangala Junction. She did not stop the car and fled the scene.
Later, auto drivers followed her and stopped the car, and when questioned, she got into an argument with them. When the Hoysala police arrived, her boyfriend took her away from the scene. Later, she sought a lift on a bike and was sexually harassed by a person named Mukeshwaran, who has since been arrested.
