CHIKKABALLAPUR: Several villagers of Bettenahalli in Devanahalli taluk of Chikkaballapur district fell ill after consuming prasadam distributed during Ram Navami celebrations, officials said on Sunday.
The food poisoning victims are being treated in hospitals in Doddaballapur and Devanahalli, with some receiving treatment at a temporary medical camp set up by the health department.
Symptoms include vomiting and diarrhoea. Health officials have collected the prasadam and water samples for lab testing.
