MYSURU: Seven people were arrested in connection with a hi-tech sex racket being operated from a hotel in Mysuru. The accused, Ratan, a KSRTC employee, had brought a Thai woman to the city and was operating the racket from a hotel.
Another accused, Revanna, was also involved in the racket. The Mysuru police and Odanadi Seva Samsthe have rescued two women, including the Thai national, and arrested seven people.
According to police sources, the accused were charging between Rs 8,000 and Rs 10,000 from customers. The Thai woman told the police that she had come to Mysuru for business purposes and had arrived in the city just a day ago. A case has been registered at the Saraswathipuram police station.
