CHIKKAMAGALUR: A semi-naked foreign national, who was wrapped only in a plastic sheet, made the police run around for about half an hour before they could finally catch him, at the Kadur bus stand on Friday. People watched in bewilderment even as the drama unfolded.
The foreign national, with a plastic sheet wrapped around his waist, was going all around the town and the police were informed about it. The police found him at the Kadur bus stand and chased him around three times for about half an hour before they could finally nab him.
Police said the foreign national was speaking only in Persian. They provided him food and some clothes and packed him off on a train to Bengaluru.
