BENGALURU: The sanction for building plans, which had been stopped for a month due to a court stay over levies for ground floor, will resume from Monday.
A stay was imposed after a petition was filed in court claiming that the levies for ground floor permissions were excessive. The court directed the authorities to revise the rates, which has now been done.
With the stay vacated, the issuance of building plans will resume from Monday, with the charges for ground floor permissions being levied based on guidance values. The Urban Development Department has given the green signal to the civic body for the issuance of approved plans.
