S Narayan skips police notice in dowry case

BENGALURU: Popular Sandalwood director S Narayan, who has been named in a dowry case registered by his daughter-in-law, has evaded a police notice asking him to join the investigation.

A dowry harassment case has been filed against S Narayan, his wife, and his son. The Jnanabharathi police have issued a notice to the director, asking him to appear for questioning. Despite receiving the notice, Narayan has not yet appeared for investigation.

The police had given a notice to S Narayan and his family members, asking them to respond to the allegations. However, they did not respond to the first notice, and now the police are preparing to issue another notice.

The complainant, S Narayan’s daughter-in-law, has also been asked to provide supporting documents for her allegations. The police have issued a notice to her as well, asking her to provide documents to support her claims.
