Rs 34 crore spent on CM Siddaramaiah’s air travels over last two years

BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has spent over Rs 34 crore for air travel, including by helicopter, to different parts of the state ever since the Congress government assumed office in 2023.

Responding to a query from JD(S) member Javarayi Gowda in the Legislative Council, the CM’s office, in a written reply, noted that Rs 34 crore had been spent on air travel of the chief minister and the governor since the Congress came to power.

In 2023-24, Rs 13 crore was spent on air travel of the CM, including chartered helicopters, while in 2024-25, Rs 20 crore was spent for the purpose. The written reply also mentions the cost incurred towards the air travel of the high court judges.
