BENGALURU: A theft has been reported at popular singer and music director Gurukiran’s house which has come to light late. Gurukiran’s mother-in-law Kasturi P Shetty has logded a complaint with Chandra Layout police station regarding the theft.
As per the complaint, Kasturi had kept Rs 2.05 lakh in the cupboard of her bedroom on December 31 afternoon. But the money was stolen on January 5. The family searched the entire house for two days. When she could not find the money, she lodged a complaint at the Chandra Layout police station on January 7 against the domestic help.
An FIR has been registered in this regard. Kasturi Shetty has raised suspicions about the domestic help Ratnamma, and the police have taken up further investigation.
