TUMAKURU: In a case of road rage, a goods autorickshaw driver allegedly assaulted a car driver for questioning him about sounding the horn, at Heggere here on Sunday night. The injured is Pavan while the attacker was identified as Vishnu.
Pavan was travelling with his mother in his car when Vishnu, who came up from behind, started continuously honking. When Pavan questioned the good autorickshaw driver why he was honking constantly, Vishnu suddenly attacked him and started using abusive language.
Pavan sustained serious injury on his left eye in the attack. The incident occurred in Tumakuru Rural police limits.
