BENGALURU: Actor and director Rishab Shetty’s film ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is scripting history in Indian cinema. The film has been enjoying houseful shows across Karnataka and the rest of the country and is also breaking records at the box office.
Rishab Shetty expressed his gratitude to the audience for their overwhelming response. He shared an emotional post on social media about the success of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ while recalling the days of struggle that he faced in the past and the humiliation he endured. In February 2016, Rishab Shetty’s directorial debut, “Ricky,” was released. Despite starring Rishab Shetty and Hariprriya, the film struggled to find theaters in coastal Karnataka, and Rishab Shetty had to make a lot of requests to get a single show in Mangaluru at that time. Fast forward to today, Rishab Shetty’s film ‘Kantara’ has crossed 5,000 shows and is enjoying houseful shows everywhere.
