Ricky Rai seeks 20 days time to appear for police investigation in shootout case

RAMNAGAR: The police have issued a notice to Ricky Rai to appear for investigation in connection with the firing case against him. In response, Ricky Rai has requested 20 days time to appear for investigation, citing medical reasons.

Ramanagara Superintendent Police Srinivas Gowda said, “The investigation into the firing case against Ricky Rai is under way in all aspects. We are waiting for some reports to come in. Once we receive all the reports, we will file a charge sheet. We have issued a notice to Ricky Rai to appear for investigation and we will continue the investigation after he appears”.

Former gunman Vithal is the main accused in the case and has already been arrested and jailed. Some evidence has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and the investigation will gain momentum once the reports are received. Currently, Vithal is the sole accused in the case, and further details will emerge after Ricky Rai appears for investigation.
