MADIKERI: A retired forest officer committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence at Basavanthur village in Kushalnagar taluk on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as T V Shashidhar (69).He had been suffering from health problems as well as insomina for the past two years. Upset over this, he shot himself and died.
A case has been registered at the Kushalnagar Rural police station.
