Restaurant staff assault food delivery agent for questioning delay in order

BENGALURU: A food delivery agent was allegedly assaulted by the staff of a restaurant on Hesaraghatta Road on Sunday night. The incident occurred at the Gabru Bistro & Cafe restaurant in Jalahalli.

The food delivery agent had come to the restaurant to collect food that was ordered by the customer, but the staff delayed handing over the parcel. When the delivery agent questioned the staff about the delay, they allegedly assaulted him.

The incident was captured on CCTV camera, but the identity of the food delivery agent has not been revealed. In the video, it can be seen that a fight broke out between two people, and then other restaurant staff joined them. Then they pulled the delivery agent, assaulted him and dragged him inside the restaurant. Then some people rescued him from the hands of staff.

The video of the assault has gone viral on social media, with many demanding the arrest of the accused. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Soladevanahalli police station.
