Reptiles being smuggled in seized from passenger at Bengaluru airport

BENGALURU: Customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Wednesday intercepted a passenger arriving from Bangkok and seized several reptiles which were being smuggled in.

The passenger arrived by an IndiGo flight and the reptiles, including a snake, were found in the luggage while checking. The animals and the passenger were handed over to the Forest Department for rescue and further legal action.
