BENGALURU: Actor-politician Ramya aka Divya Spandana, whom the Congress is considering as a candidate from Mandya for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, is said to be unreachable.
It is believed that the party leadership has been trying to get in touch with Ramya over th last few days, but has been unable to make contact. Her close confidants reportedly said that they too are awaiting word from her and suggested that the party leaders too wait.
The Congress is in a fix finding a suitable candidate for the Mandya seat and is said to be considering Ramya for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. In the 2013 byelection, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar had taken responsibility and had ensured her win. Her remaining incommunicado has sent confusing signals in the party circles.
