UDUPI: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Udupi on Friday to take part in the 30th convocation ceremony of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
Rajnath Singh will also inaugurate the a new building with unique architecture at the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT).
During the three-day convocation, 5,062 students will be awarded degrees and 208 research scholars of MAHE will get their PhD degrees.
