BENGALURU: Following the suspicious death of Puttur youth Takshit at a lodge in Madiwala, the police have received the post-mortem report which reveals that Thakshit had kidney failure, liver issues and asthma, which are likely to have caused his death.
Takshit and a young woman were in love and dating each other and had planned to get married. They had been staying in different lodges in Bengaluru for 20 days, including an 8-day stay in the Madiwala lodge.
The police have recorded the woman’s statement and suspect that Takshit was a chain smoker and had asthma. Notably, his parents also had asthma.
The police have collected samples and sent them to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for further analysis. The exact cause of Takshit’s death will be known only after the FSL report is received. A UDR (Unnatural Death Report) case has been registered at the Madiwala police station.
