HASSAN: A truck driver from Punjab, along with his assistants, threatened a trader with swords, axe and daggers over a trivial issue at the APMC Yard at Santhepet here on Thursday night.
The trucker was carrying a consignment of potato seeds from Punjab and had parked on the other side of the road opposite Talha Traders. When the trader asked the trucker to move the vehicle ahead, the driver got angry.
The trucker and his associates charged at the trader with sword, dagger and axe in hand to attack the trader. The police were later called in and a case has been registered.
