MANGALURU: Pumpwell junction in the city has been submerged due to heavy rainfall for the last two days. Rainwater was flowing on the roads, causing difficulties for vehicle users. The heavy water flow has led to a complete roadblock, with vehicles lined up along the road.
A private bus that attempted to navigate through the flooded junction broke down in the middle of the road and was later pushed to the side by locals. The KMC rear gate and BJR Road were also experiencing water logging due to the continuous rainfall.
The incessant rain has disrupted daily life, and there are concerns about water flooding low-lying areas.
