BENGALURU : The seventh edition of ‘Vidhyapeeta’ education expo, hosted by Public TV, has received great response from students on the first day.
At least 3,500 to 4,000 students visited the expo along with their parents and benefited from the education fair.
Public TV Chairman H R Ranganath, GS&SG Group MD Prakash Nath Swamiji, Garden City University vice-chancellor Joseph, Ramaiah University vice-chancellor Kuldeep Raina, Cambridge University chairman D K Mohan and East Point Group of Institutions CEO Rajiv Gowda were part of the inauguration.
Later, Public TV chief HR Ranganath spoke about the aim of the Vidhyapeeta education expo which was also appreciated by the dignitaries present on the occasion.
Students got answers to their questions, doubts on COMED-K, CET at the seminar session. They also got information about courses from 110 reputed educational institutions which took part in the expo.
Slow cycle race, debates and many other competitions were organised as part of the expo. A winner was chosen every hour through a lucky dip and gifted gold coins by Jeeni Millets.
Many attractive prizes including a bicycle as a bumper gift, were the attraction of Vidhyapeeta. First-time voters were given a special gift by Add Gel.
The Vidhyapeeta education expo will continue tomorrow from 9 am to 6 pm and students can participate, get information, and win attractive prizes.
