BENGALURU: A second-year PU student was attacked with deadly weapons on Kannurhalli Road in Hosakote town, Bengaluru Rural District.

The incident happened a week ago when the student, Syed Ishan, was returning home after tuition. He was attacked with deadly weapons, machete, stump sticks and deadly weapons.

Ishan suffered severe injuries with the attackers cutting one of his fingers, injuring him in the neck and inflicting severe wounds on his hand. Ishan is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

A case has been filed against nine accused, including Khadeer, Faraz, Masthan, and Nawaz. Family members are demanding the immediate arrest of the accused. The case has been registered at the Hoskote police station.

Arif, father of Syed Ishan, said his hand is not moving as it was damaged during the attack. “He became weak now. We have lodged a complaint, but no one has been arrested by police so far. We just need justice, not anything else. Nawaz’s sons and a few others were involved in the fighting”, he said.
