BENGALURU: Those looking to register property transactions are facing difficulties across the state due to server issues at the sub-registrar office. This has led to speculation regarding non-payment of dues to the vendors who maintain the servers.

Officials at the sub-registrar offices are unable to log in to the Kaveri 2.0 software and property registrations have not been taking place for the last 15 days. Last Saturday, registrations had almost come to a standstill.

Technical glitches have been affecting all the 252 sub-registrar office across the state with people facing problems with uploading documents and officials being unable to process them.

On Tuesday, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda had said the issues would be sorted out soon. Officials pointed out that the problems started soon after the last day for securing e-khatas was announced.
