KALBURAGI: The BJP leaders in the city pasted posters of MLA Priyank Kharge across Chittapur taluk on Tuesday, highlighting the Congress leader as a ‘missing person’. Hundreds of posters were pasted in the Assembly constituency.
The poster, pasted by BJP members, state, “The MLA of Chittapur constituency has been missing since September 18, 2022. As there are development works pending, if you find him anywhere, please ask him to visit his constituency”. The posters were pasted by local BJP leader Aravind Chauhan.
The poster war between the BJP and the Congress has spread across the state. Congress party workers staged a protest and opposed the poster campaign against Priyank Kharge. Later, local BJP leader Aravind Chouhan was also gheraoed by Congress party workers.
