CHITRADURGA: A private bank employee committed suicide at a lodge in Hosadurga town on Monday. The deceased was identified as M Santosh (40), who was working in Bengaluru.

Santosh was working with IDFC First Bank in Bengaluru, but had been transferred to Madhya Pradesh. He wanted to continue working in Karnataka itself due to some health issues. Two days ago, he was sent to Hosadurga on official work where he committed suicide by hanging at a lodge right above the bank in the same building.

In a death note, Santosh has alleged harassment by seniors and said the bank must compensate his family for his death. He also alleged that bribery and corruption is rampant in the bank. The Hosadurga police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
