BENGALURU: A pregnant woman died in front of her husband after speeding truck driver rammed their two-wheeler while they was returning home after attending a puja at Eddehalli village in Nelamangala taluk, on the outskirts of the City on Wednesday.
The family was preparing her baby shower ceremony. The woman had told her family members that she would visit a temple before the baby shower ceremony. The incident took place when she and her husband Manjunath were returning home after visiting the temple. While the woman died on the spot, Manjunath survived with minor injuries.
In a separate incident, a man suddenly collapsed and died after sufffering a heart attack while he was talking on the phone in Motaganahalli village of Nelamangala assembly constituency. The deceased was identified as Srinivas(45).
He was returning home when he collapsed on the ground while talking on the phone. The last moments of the man’s death was caught on CCTV camera.
