HASSAN: A pregnant elephant, accompanied by four others, has been camping at a coffee estate near Hakrekumbari in Sakleshpur taluk. The herd of elephants were spotted on CCTV camera close to a house on the estate.
The Forest department has advised estate not to venture out as the pregnant elephant is expected to deliver soon and the herd may attack people. The elephant task force (ETF) has also warned people in surrounding areas to exercise caution while moving out.
