Prajwal Revanna’s bail plea rejected, to remain in jail

BENGALURU: Former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna has been denied bail in the rape and sexual assault case registered against him which was registered against him at the Holenarsipur Town police station. He will now remain in judicial custody after the 82nd Sessions court rejected his bail application.

Prajwal Revanna faces three cases of sexual assault — one filed in Holenarsipur and two filed by the CID. He had sought bail in the Holenarsipur case. Initially, the case was registered for sexual assault and the rape charge was added later.

Prajwal’s father and Holenarsipur MLA H D Revanna, who is also an accused in the case had earlier been granted regular bail by the cour in the case.
