CHITRADURGA: Posters criticising BJP MLA G H Thippareddy have sprung up in parts of the city on Monday in the name of villagers from Mathada Kurubarahatti. The posters, referring to the lawmaker as ‘Maggalu Mullu’, or a thorn, were found pasted on walls in some parts of the city and a video of the posters was circulated on social media.

The poster claims that the villagers of Mathada Kurubarahatti had given him the name of ‘Maggalu Mullu’ as he had done injustice to them by ignoring their welfare. The villagers say that when they went to meet the legislator at his house, he shouted at them and asked them to go away as they had not voted for him.
