BENGALURU: Th owner of a popular salon in Bengaluru has been accused of swindling crores of rupees from several women. The salon, Perimeter, has multiple branches across the state and allegedly targets wealthy women.
The owners, Raksha Harikal Salva, Suneet Mehta and Tiwari, assured the women that they could invest in the salon and earn lakhs of rupees per month.
Believing this, several women invested anywhere between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 50 lakh each. However, the owners failed to provide any returns (profits) on the investment and allegedly cheated the investors.
FIRs have been filed against the salon owners at Govindaraj Nagar, Talaghattapura, and CCB police stations, among others. During the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the owners may have swindled around Rs 50 crore. Further investigation is under way.
