BENGALURU: After the controversy over the video and photo of VIP treatment for jailed actor Darshan with history-sheeter Wilson Garden Naga, along with two others, sitting on the lawn of the Parappana Agrahara Central jail with a coffee mug and cigarette, the police are now preparing to seek a body warrant against Darshan after fresh FIRs were registered against him.
Three separate FIRs have been registered against Darshan and others. Police applied for a body warrant on Monday evening and the plea is to be heard today. The police are preparing to take Darsha and the others into custody again to question them about how phones, cigarettes were allowed inside the jail.
The police have registered three separate FIRs against Darshan and others. The first case is under investigation by the Begur inspector, and the second case is handled by the Hulimavu inspector, while the third case is being investigated by the Electronics City Sub-Division ACP.
DIG (prisons) M Somashekar filed a complaint under the BNS and Prison Act at Parappana Agrahara police station. Darshan is the first accused in two of the three cases.
An FIR has been registered under Sections 42 of the BNS and Prison Act, with Darshan as the first accused, along with Nagaraj, Nagaraj (Wilson Garden Naga) and Kulla Seena as the accused.
Another FIR has been registered under Section 42 of the BNS and Prison Act, with Darshan as the first accused, along with Dharmaraj and Satya.
The third FIR has been filed under Sections 42, 54(1)(m) of the BNS and Prison Act and 238, 323 of the BNBS Act, with Sudarshan K S as the first accused, along with Mujeeb, Paramesh Nayak Lamani and K B Raymane.
