BENGALURU: The Bengaluru city police have initiated legal action against individuals putting up unauthorised banners and flexes across the city. Several complaints were filed with the city police commissioner regarding the proliferation of unauthorised banners, highlighting that the large banners were spoiling the city’s aesthetic appeal.
City police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh has instructed the police stations and DCPs concerned to register FIRs against those responsible for installing unauthorised banners without notice. The police will work with the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) officials to identify and take action against those responsible.
