BENGALURU: The city police are checking CCTV footage and recording statements of people in connection with Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan’s inappropriate behaviour at a city pub. A controversy erupted as some powerful politicians’ son also took part in the party. The police are now conducting a thorough investigation into the case.
Home Minister G Parameshwara has personally instructed that the investigation be carried out thoroughly as names of legislators and ministers have been linked to the case. The police have already conducted preliminary investigation and established that a clash that broke out at the pub.
After reviewing CCTV footage and obtaining statements from some individuals, the police say they cannot issue a notice to anyone without proper evidence at this juncture. If sufficient evidence is found, they will directly issue a notice, sources said. The police are of the opinion that Aryan Khan’s behaviour was socially wrong, citing his background, for publicly showing the middle finger.
While Aryan Khan’s behaviour has come in for criticism from some quarters, the reason for his act has not been determined. The police are now investigating whether there is a link between Aryan Khan’s gesture and two incidents that took place at the pub. They will also question the pub owner and if evidence is found, it could be a setback for the star kids as the police may summon them to the station for questioning.
