Police raid godowns where fake disinfectants were stored, arrest two

BENGALURU: In a joint operation, officials of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) and Jeevan Bima Nagar police raided two godown where fake disinfectants of popular brands Harpic and Lizol were being produced and stored for sale.

The godowns belong to owners Anil Patel and Ananth Patel, who have been arrested by CCB police. The police have seized materials worth crores from the Jeevan Bima Nagar and Aavalahalli godowns in Bengaluru.
