BENGALURU: The Chennamanakere Achukattu police are questioning three domestic helps, suspected of the theft of Rs 3 lakh, at actor Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi’s residence.
The police have questioned three domestic workers, but they denied any involvement, saying that they did not steal anything. Vijayalakshmi had suspected the domestic helps and filed a complaint.
On the day of the theft, five people were present at the house, including the three domestic workers, Vijayalakshmi’s manager Nagaraj, and her mother.
The police, who checked CCTV footage, found that no one had entered the flat when except for one in the garden area, which showed no unauthorized persons entering the premises. Based on CCTV footage and technical evidence, the police will further investigate Nagaraj and Vijayalakshmi’s mother.
