CHIKKABALLAPUR: The police are on high alert after a notorious woman thief was spotted on CCTV cameras recceing various streets and localities in Gauribidanur. They have also appealed to citizens to inform them if they spot the woman.
The thief, Chenchulakshmi, hails from Hyderabad and she and her gang have numerous cases filed against them in Karnataka and Telangana. They target locked houses and break in at night.
Previously, the Chikkaballapur police had arrested Chenchulakshmi for housebreak theft and sent her to jail. Now, the Gauribidanur police are on alert after she was spotted in the town.
